If you are a water sports fan or you prefer a lower impact class, you have to try this one!

Combines all the usual fun ingredients of any Zumba class type with all the hydro gymnastics benefits.

This type of aerobic exercise is extremely beneficial. The word aerobic denotes the presence of oxygen, that is what aerobic means, – you will breathe faster and deeply which will maximize the amount of oxygen in your blood and your heart will beat faster which will increase the blood flow to your muscles and back to your lungs.

The capillaries (your small blood vessels) will widen to deliver more oxygen to your muscles and carry away waste products such as the lactic acid (which is what causes you that soreness feeling in your body) and carbon dioxide.

It also helps to release the endorphins, which are the natural painkillers of the body and give you a feeling of well-being. Exercise in water focuses on a range of motion and builds strength due to the water resistance.

The fact that the water acts as a resistance is also extremely beneficial for people with arthritis as it helps to put less pressure on the joints and for people who suffer with fibromyalgia or osteoporosis. It is an excellent exercise for pregnant women and for weight loss.
